Bad weather (rain, snow and sleet) caused power outages in some 319 towns and villages in seven regions of Ukraine, including 61 towns and villages with partial blackouts, the press service of the state emergencies service has reported.

Some 79 towns and villages have blackouts in Volyn region (18 with partial blackouts), 62 in Lviv region (16 with partial blackouts), 49 in Ternopil region (one with partial blackouts), 46 in Zhytomyr region, 36 in Kiyv region (16 with partial blackouts), 35 in Rivne region (three with partial blackouts), and 12 in Ivano-Frankivsk region (seven with partial blackouts).

Regional electricity companies’ teams are working on restoring electricity supplies.
