Most women believe that makeups are very important. Well, when it comes to looking good, It is true. But you cannot actually look great if you do not know the right colors of makeup’s to put on. You will agree with me that some ladies put on make-up’s and it turns to be a mess. We are going to talk about helpful tips on how to make up on both warm skin and cool skin tones, I guess by now you must have determined the category in which you fall.

Make up’s for warm skin tones

Face: Start by applying the foundation that matches your skin color, not every person with warm skin tones have the same color of skin so find the shade of foundation that blends best to your face color without leaving any harsh lines, even for women who prefer not to wear too much foundation, a light layer helps to eliminate redness and provides a base for the rest of your make up.

Sweep bronze across your cheeks and temples. Bronze helps to give your skin a healthy and natural looking glow and it’s ideal for warm skin tones. Most shades of bronze work on warm skin tones but the darker your skin color, the darker the bronze you should choose. Pat on a thin layer of powder to finish the look. this sets out your skin tone.

Eyes: Sweep a golden brown eye shadow over your eyelids. All shades of brown work nicely on warm skin tones but browns with gold in them are best because they enhance the gold undertones in your skin. Play around with copper dark grey, pale yellows, greens and ivory. these colors all enhance a warm skin tone and makes you look radiant .

Line your eyes with a dark brown or black eye-liner, it brings focus to the eyes and makes your eye lashes look thick and full. Start at the inner corner of the eye and draw a line just above your natural lash line, all the way across to the outer corner of eye.

Comb dark brown or black mascara through lashes. Even a light coat of mascara helps add volume and length to your lashes, enhancing your beauty.

Lips: Apply lipstick. The best hues for warm skin tones are orange tones, corals and reds. Women with warm skin tones should avoid pastel colors, as these makes warm skin look pale and washed out.

Line your lips after applying lipstick and blend it in. Choose a lip liner in a shade as close to your lipstick shade as possible. Lastly, apply a thin quote of lip-gloss to your lips. Gloss helps enhance the color of your lipstick and makes your lip look full and soft.

Make up for Cool Skin tones

Cool skin tones look stunning in blue based colors and jewel tones, including sapphire, plum, magenta and royal blue.

Foundation :  For a fresh natural look, choose colors that have blue or pink based undertones to match you cool complexion.

Eye shadow: To enhance your eyes, select shades in deep, icy blues, silver, grey and emerald green. But pass on colors in the warm brown family, including coral, cream, apricot and bronze.

Cheeks:  For a radiant complexion, consider pinks and plums. Avoid auburn and almond shades, which are best for warm skin tones.

Lips  : In keeping you blue-based palette  also choose lip colors with the same undertone. Warm colors like browns and corals may wash out cool skin tones and even make your teeth look yellow.

How can you tell if a lip color is blue based ?, hold the lipstick up to a sheet of white paper, which should reveal the tones. Common colors that compliment cool skin tones include cherry red, raspberry  burgundy, plum, pink and shades of purple.
